2nd Midland Teen Council Meeting

Hey Everybody!
This is my first post, and I'm sorry for waiting 5 days to post up what happened at our meeting. This is just a basic overview of what we did.
Our 2nd meeting took place on November 7th, and was pretty informative, but still fun. We started out with more introductions and then Sara Ryan came and helped us set up accounts on this blog and taught us how to use it. After that, June Bass gave us a quiz over library volunteer policy and it was really interesting. (I had no idea there were two new libraries opening by 2010!)
When our guest speakers were done, we worked on more "internal" issues. We decided to just stick with "Midland Teen Council" (MTC) for our official name, and we're still choosing flier designs. Parent permission forms were turned in, and then we started choosing the anime series that we want to show at Midland.
Overall, it was a pretty productive meeting, and it was fun seeing everyone again. If anyone is reading this that wants to drop by one of our meetings, that would be great! (We need more council members!!)
