MCL Teens

Howdy again all blog readers,

Today marks the second teen council meeting for the Hillsdale Teen Council Meeting (which rocks by the way for everyone that did not know!). To kick of our meeting we all asked some very important questions to the mystical, magical and wonderous 8-ball. Not only were all our questions answered, some more favorable then others, we also managed to question the 8-ball's mystical powers (such as, can it really predict the weather better then the news? I fear that we will never know).

After the 8-ball questioning, we began to work a bit on our upcoming Arthur celebration/carnival, which everyone who is reading this should come to on December 8 from 11:00 to 12:00 (AM)! There will be some cool door prizes, Arthur in person, as well as some dancing and some great music.

After the arthurtastic fun, we all started talking about our favorite childhood books (ie Can Jansen Series, Sheep Out to Eat, Stinky Cheese Man and Goodnight Moon). We also talked about yet another upcoming event, a Duct Tape Craft Party!!! Not only will this event feature, of course, duct tape, we will have a professional come in to teach us how to make some beautiful flowers, bags, boxes and much much more. After the duct tape discussion we finally rounded off the meeting with our choice for the movie that will be shown on Hillsdale Library's next movie night!! (some more free publicity, so everyone should also come to that as well!).
