Once Upon a Time...

Posted on Thursday February 07, 2008 by Lisa Martin

Here's a story that the Hillsdale Teen Council has begun. Please add on to the story!

Once upon a time...

In the magical land of Chicago, a very long time ago (around 1929), there lived a turtle named Joe Average who lived in the sewers with his friends Raphael, Donnatelli, Leonardo, Monet and Picasso.

On the other side of this magical land, there lived an evil bunny rabbit with red eyes who lived in a volcano tower. He had a fighter plane and the rabbit's name was Sqwakers. One day he thought he saw a plastic beer bottle falling out of the sky. He quickly got his fighter plane and followed, speeding towards the earth towards the green blur fast approaching his windshield. He tried to quickly turn and avoid colliding with the beer bottle but he was too late. With a huge crack, a bottle of "Black Butte" grape beer sailed through his windshield...

For a long time, the evil bunny rabbit had been planning to invade the sewer that hosted Joe Average and his artistic friends. But the rabbit's life was nearly perfect. He had a house, a car, food, and evil friends to talk to. When the beer bottle fell out of the sky, the rabbit assumed that Joe Average, the turtle, threw it. This made the evil bunny rabbit very angry, and he began to devise a plan to get back at his arch nemesis.
