Poem: Your Window, by Barin

Posted on Friday November 20, 2009 by Sara Ryan

You watch from your window,

People passing by,

Hoping that someone notices,

Your silent cry.

That familiar pain,

That invades you at night,

Slowly killing you inside,

And you can never lose its

sight.

People just can’t see,

That you’re falling apart,

They enjoy the staging,

Where you keep smiling.

You try to scream,

But you can’t ask for help,

They don’t understand,

And story’s end.
